The North West has been working together to put families first by strengthening how we listen to and reflect the views, experiences and voices of babies, children, young people and families in everything we do.
Over the last 12 months, more than 500 children, families, carers, practitioners and senior leaders have co-produced the North West Language Charter, the Conversational Tool and the Right Support, Right Time document.
This work has included four regional hackathons where children, families and carers led the conversation on how language should be used and reinforced the importance of conversations always coming before process.
This page provides further information and access to these tools and resources.
For further information about the Right Support, Right Time tool, please contact your local North West Safeguarding Partnership, as local adaptations and contextualisation may apply.
